With the Diploma Ceremony taking place on 18 November 2025, we’re celebrating this special milestone with stories of your special day.

Whether your Diploma Ceremony is coming up soon or it's a proud memory from years gone by, we want to hear from you!

  •  If you’re attending this year, tell us what you’re most looking forward to 
  • If you’ve already been to your Diploma Ceremony, whether it was last year, or many years ago, share your memories of what it meant to you  

How to take part

Please email the following to bailey.oculis@college-optometrists.org: 

  • A photo from your diploma day (or a recent picture of yourself) 
  • A short paragraph about what the ceremony meant to you, or what you're most looking forward to this year 

How we'll use your story

Submissions may be featured on our website, community and social media channels as part of our #EyesOnDiploma campaign, celebrating the Diploma Ceremony and the profession.
