Clinical Fellow - Optometry Clinic Director, Aston University, Birmingham

Aston University’s Eye Clinic handles approximately 8,000 patient episodes annually and supports the largest Optometry teaching programme in the Western world.

We are seeking a General Optical Council registered eye care professional who possesses exceptional organisational and marketing skills to help grow the clinic. This individual will be responsible for negotiating contracts with local NHS and commissioning bodies, as well as introducing new services that benefit the local community. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player and a strong clinical entrepreneurial leader, capable of managing a large and complex clinic team while balancing clinical, educational, and commercial priorities within a teaching practice.
