Myopia prevention efforts could help avert RRD 

Researchers in Australia have examined the role of myopia or intraocular pressure in rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) using data from 500,000 members of the UK Biobank cohort. Their results suggest that myopia control efforts may also help prevent retinal detachment.
