We have listed a range of resources available in each nation and UK-wide to help you manage your own mental health and support others who may be struggling.

Every mind matters - NHS
Free tips and advice from the NHS on how to look after your mental health. Includes self-help techniques, information on supporting others and how to get urgent help.

Mental Health UK
Mental Health UK is a charity that offers health and wellbeing resources, such as videos on work-life balance, exercise and managing stress. They also offer advice on managing mental health and wellbeing at work, including downloadable resources such as a wellbeing work plan. In addition they have a dedicated section about managing your mental health during the coronavirus pandemic.

Mental health at work
Mental health at work is curated by Mind, the mental health charity and is your gateway to documents, guides, tips, videos, courses, podcasts, templates and information from organisations across the UK, all aimed at helping you get to grips with workplace mental health.

Student minds
Student minds is a mental health charity run for students offering advice on a range of mental health issues including exam stress and looking after your mental wellbeing.

Rehab Clinics Group
Rehab Clinics Group provides practical tips and guidance to students on how to cope with the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can download a free copy of the student guide which outlines ways to improve and effectively manage mental health.

Every Mind Matters
Every mind matters is a Public Health England (PHE) initiative to encourage greater awareness of mental health. It provides practical tips and tools for self-care, including managing stress, anxiety and low mood.

Your Mind Plan
This free online quiz provided by every mind matters asks five questions and will take you less than three minutes to complete. It will help you build a practical plan to maintain and improve your mental health and wellbeing.

Better Health
Better Health is part of the PHE brand. It provides tips and guidance to help people make healthier lifestyle choices. The website also includes links to a variety of apps to improve other aspects of wellbeing such as: NHS weight loss plan; daily walking plan; running app for beginners; BMI calculator.

How are you quiz
This free online quiz provided by the NHS provides a personalised health score, and takes just 10 minutes to complete.

Student Space is run by Student Minds, it offers support by phone, email and text and can help you find support at your university.

CommunityWellbeingNI
This online hub offers a range of information, self-help guides, videos and ways to access help to support your mental health and wellbeing. It is designed as a hub for 15 mental health and wellbeing charities in Northern Ireland, and provides a full range of wellbeing information.

NI Direct
This government run website offers advice on taking care of your mental health and wellbeing.

The Department of Health, Northern Ireland
The Department of Health, Northern Ireland has provided links to health-related phone apps you may find useful. Some of the apps are free, while some may require initial payment and subscription to a service.

Clear your head
This Scottish Government website highlights practical things you can do to look after your mental health and wellbeing. It also provides additional links to resources and support throughout Scotland.

Living Life
Living Life is a free appointment based phone service based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for people in Scotland feeling low, stressed or anxious. Call living life on 0800 328 9655.

Healthy Working Lives
Part of Public Health Scotland, Health Working Lives helps employers and employees to create and maintain a healthy, safe and productive workforce and workplace, highlighting the importance of good mental health.

SAMH
SAMH is Scotland’s mental health charity. They have online resources to help your wellbeing, including a wellbeing assessment tool. The site also includes a coronavirus mental health information hub that gathers information, links and resources to help you keep informed and protect your mental health.

Public Health Wales
This NHS organisation aims to protect and improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for people living in Wales. In their how are you doing? page they offer you advice on how to look after your mental wellbeing.

Healthy Working Wales (HWW)
This programme is delivered by Public Health Wales to promote wellbeing at work. The health at work guidance pages allow you to access information, guidance, and good practice examples to help you improve the health and wellbeing of your workforce.

SilverCloud
This online space offers a different range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) programmes designed to empower you to develop skills to manage your psychological wellbeing. Access to this service is free for those who live in Wales or are registered with a Welsh GP.

Mind
This mental health charity has tips on how to maintain your wellbeing during coronavirus pandemic – this page is also available in Welsh.
