Last year was the 40th anniversary of the formation of The College of Optometrists. To recognise this milestone, the College undertook a report to understand the history and impact of the research it has funded. 

“By going back and identifying the people that the College has funded as PhD scholars, the 40 years of research report has shown how they have become the academics, teachers and leaders that have trained the generations that followed,” says Michael Bowen, Director of Research at the College.
