Claim: Stem cells will halt the onset of age-related vision loss

Stem cell therapies have long promised to relieve numerous conditions. Stem cells are essentially undifferentiated, and under certain stimuli can be coaxed into developing into different types of cells. In principle, this means that they can be harnessed as an internal repair system, endowed with regenerative abilities.
