Should you see a patient who is a visitor to your town who is having a contact lens problem?

Scenario

Margaret Kenny has worn daily disposable contact lenses for 5 years. She is on holiday in your town for the weekend, and is due for a sight test and contact lens check-up. She has booked an appointment with her regular optometrist to have both of these done when she returns home next week. She had difficulty removing her lenses last night and feels that she has a piece of her lens stuck in her right eye. She comes in at 9am asking if you can ‘have a look’ and remove it for her. What do you do? Would it make a difference if she was your patient?
