You should use the following routine infection control precautions:

  2. decontaminate equipment after use, see paragraphs B57-B81
  3. disinfect used linen
  4. decontaminate the environment by:
    • keeping it clean and free from clutter and dust
    • disinfecting spills of body fluid.
