New College OCT course launched

OCT

The College is pleased to announce that a new CPD course - Introduction to OCT - is now available to College members.

The new Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) course from the College focuses on interpretation of OCT images and is aimed at optometrists who are new to OCT and those wanting to understand how to use OCT scans for clinical investigations. The course introduces interpreting OCT results and discusses how to apply these findings in clinical decision making.

The course is free for College members and there are 0.5 non-interactive CPD points available for those who complete the multiple choice quiz.

Also, don't miss our free member webinar OCT in optometric practice for beginners with Dr Rebekka Heitmar MCOptom Prof Cert Med Ret, which will cover basic OCT terminology/interpretation, explore different scan types and provide an overview of the most common abnormalities. This will take place on 18 October from 7:30pm-8:45pm (GMT) and is worth 1 interactive CPD point. Register now.
