The 2020 refresh of the College’s Guidance for Professional Practice has coincided with potentially era-defining developments in the wider world. Consequently, says Daniel Hardiman-McCartney FCOptom, Clinical Adviser for the College, this is one of the most important updates ever – whether that’s responding to the #MeToo or Black Lives Matter (BLM) movements, or tackling clinical issues such as myopia recalls and overnight contact lenses.
