Big data balances glaucoma risk with COVID

Research has shown that big data can assist with triaging glaucoma patients during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Scientists at the University of Michigan developed a risk stratification tool that weighed the ocular risks of delay to treatment with the threat to health of exposure to COVID-19 in clinical environments – a common reason for postponing glaucoma treatment.
