Adaptive optics replicates vision with multifocal lenses
An adaptive optics (AO) simulator accurately captures the visual experience of having a multifocal intraocular lens (M-IOL), researchers have discovered.
In the study published in Scientific Reports, through-focus (TF) optical and visual quality produced by real M-IOLs were compared with simulations using a spatial light modulator or an optotunable lens.
