Student perceptions and use of social media on learning

This article considers the use of online social network sites (OSNS) by students studying an ophthalmic dispensing course.

With over two billion users of OSNS, their use as learning tools warrants investigation. This article describes a study designed to find out how a group of ophthalmic dispensing students feel their use of OSNS influences their learning.
