Presenting complaint

An 89-year-old long-time patient called after noticing blurring of vision and a “crescent”-like shadow in the left eye (LE). He was otherwise asymptomatic prior to noticing the change in his vision. 

History

The patient had a “hard” fall in March 2019 and took an impact on the left temporal region of the head. He did not lose consciousness, had a head scan and was given the all-clear. However, the fall resulted in a hip injury, which has affected his balance.
