How do I restart my time on the Scheme?
Situations in which you can restart your time on the Scheme
You may apply to restart the Scheme one further time in the following circumstances:
- where you are a Disabled Person and – as a result of your disability – you are, or will become, unable to pass the Scheme for Registration in the allotted time
and/or
- where, due to exceptional circumstances you are, or will become, unable to pass the Scheme for Registration in the allotted time.
Fees
You will be required to pay a fee of £115 (£119 from 1 July 2025) for your restart application. We will raise an invoice and inform you of it only when we are sure that your application is completed and you have provided enough evidence. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable.
How to apply
- To apply for a restart, fill out the form in your My College area (via Request extension/restart tab - select a restart option). You are required to state your reasons for the exceptional circumstances, along with evidence to fully support your request.
- You will need to upload any supporting evidence in Word or PDF format (other formats will not be accepted).
